Perception and the Brain
The 'Brain and Mind' series of interdisciplinary workshops looks at brain-related issues from the point of view of neuroscience, psychology, clinical medicine and philosophy. The workshops attract a broad audience, including academics, students, and the general public. Previous workshops have covered topics as diverse as schizophrenia, music, addiction, and bilingualism.
The series continuedin Michaelmas Term2017 with an interactive workshop on Perception and the Brain. In this interactive workshop, three speakers investigated perception from the point of view of neuroscience, psychology and philosophy. The speakers were Professor Kristine Krug, University of Oxford (Neuroscience), Brian Rogers, University of Oxford (Psychology) and Craig French, University of Nottingham (Philosophy). The workshop was followed by a lively question and answer session with the audience.
