One Hundred Years of Women's Suffrage: Where to Next?

7th February 2018

We were delighted to attend the event organisd by St Hugh’s College and Women in the Humanities on 6 February 2018, which marked a century since the passage of the Representation of the People Act that enfranchised many women over the age of 30.

There was a roundtable discussion led by a panel that comprised our former Principal, Sheila Forbes CBE, with fellow alumnae from each of Oxford’s former women’s colleges, Dame Helen Ghosh DCB, Shirley Williams, Professor Jo Delahunty QC and Faith Boardman. The discussion was followed by an informative audience Q and A.
