Oxford Experience Days in College

These days aim to give students a flavour of life at the College and the University. They are available, on selected dates, for all secondary school-age students.

An example taster day:

  • 11:00 Welcome talk
  • 12:00 Meet the current undergraduates of St Hilda’s and Q&A
  • 12:30 Tour of college grounds and facilities
  • 13:00 Lunch in college hall
  • 14:15 Visit to one of the University Museums for a taught session
  • 15:15 Depart from the Museum

Subject Experience Days in College

Subject experience days are planned in response to and in collaboration with our link region state schools. These days give students a specific subject-focussed experience, as well as a flavour of life at the College and University.

An example experience day:

  • 10:15 Welcome and application talk
  • 11:00 Engineering taster lecture with Q&A
  • 12:00 Meet the current undergraduates of St Hilda’s and Q&A
  • 12:30 Tour of college grounds and facilities
  • 13:00 Lunch in hall
  • 14:15 Visit to the department for second taster session
  • 15:30 Depart

St Hilda's College is on Cowley Place, the Plain, which is just over Magdalen Bridge. The nearest park & ride to St Hilda's is Thornhill Park & Ride. The  nearest bus stop to us is St Clement's (a two-minute walk from the College).
